Where is Billy Darwin? A Horary Reading

Forward:

When people go missing we are left with a need to find answers that aren’t always forthcoming. That is where I will often try to garner information using astrology, some times readings are spot on and others are way off so please keep that in mind. I did a reading a few months back on a young lady named Lynnlee Taylor. She went missing after having a fight with her mom about a cell phone. I looked at her horary chart and things appeared FAR MORE negative than Billy’s chart. I had to tell her mom that I suspected the worst, which was awful to have to say. I am happy to say about a month later Lynnlee came home safe. She had been hiding in her boyfriend’s basement for like 6 months or something when they finally found her.

Astrology is old, older than Jesus and the meanings of planetary aspects and placements are very set in their meanings. I don’t choose what Venus conjunct Mars means, that meaning is as old as time itself. There is always room for error in astrology though on part of the astrologer. Information can be misinterpreted and there for it is imperative that we hold on to our hope and wish for the best regardless of what any astrologer says. At the end of the day astrology is just astrology. It is not fact and should never be treated as so. It can be a helpful tool though and when used responsibly it gives us glimpses into situations. 

Horary astrology is often used to try to find what is lost. It can give direction, distance and locational clues which is why I chose to use this particular branch to see if we can locate Billy. Now that this reading is complete, I would like to gather up Billy’s date, time and location of birth and examine his natal chart to get a better idea of what kinds of situations in life Billy was dealing with. Although there was mention of death in the horary reading I am still not convinced that Billy is dead frm doing this reading alone. Often when we read using fixed stars things can take on very negative meanings, please don’t be alarmed by the negative suggestions given by these fixed stars. They are just very old and astrologers were far more fatalistic in early times when technology was lacking. 

Once we get Billy’s birth data, which should be on his birth certificate we will get a clearer idea of what he might have been going through at that time and then we can use his birth planets to build a map that may or may not help with searches. I have not lost hope that Billy may be out there alive and ultimately when I look at this chart the only applying aspect occurring that shows the outcome is positive in nature. That is what is most important. Sending all my love, hope and prayers to you guys.

Ascendant

11 degrees Virgo:

With a Virgo ascendant Billy’s health, daily routine or work issues need to be analyzed further in regard to his disappearance. He might be a very practical person with Virgo ascending but with Virgo’s ruler mercury which represents Billy in the reading being in Pisces I doubt it. he was likely feeling nervous, irritable, worried and preoccupied at that time. There is a need for Billy to have recognition of his intelligence, planning, and he might have been, “thinking big” at the time of his disappearance judging by some midpoints that were hit.

Ascendant with Zosma:

With Fixed star Zosma Ascending themes of victimization are brought up. This theme comes up because Zosma is the star in the back of Leo the Lion. Hercules killed the lion by crushing it’s back, where this fixed star is located. In short the bigger themes of the star include: Depression, fear, unhappiness, feeling restricted, poisoning, accidents, intestinal problems, Loss suffered during childhood. This could bring up sinister themes involving some one literally victimizing him or it could imply that Billy saw himself as a victim of something which resulted in him feeling persecuted. There is an element of force with in his environment with this degree rising due to the ascendant hitting the Uranus Pluto midpoint.

Mercury, Billy’s Signifigator

Mercury in Pisces:

With this position it may show that at the time Billy had difficulty distinguishing reality from fantasy. He was likely highly intuitive with an ability to know what others might be thinking but I doubt he was feeling clear headed at the time. There is an ability to delude one’s self with this placement. Pisces rules delusion, addiction, mental illness, deception done on the part of yourself or others. Mercury (Billy) is in fall and detriment in Pisces. This placement shows us where Billy might be at, and we look to Pisces to give us locational clues hoping that they are accurate.  Pisces is the sign of the fish so it rules fishing holes, the direction NW, the color white, places along the coast, marshy ground, ponds, swimming holes, places near water, religious sites, secluded areas, hospitals, clinics, jails. This sign also rules large animals such as cattle or horses.

Mercury in the 7^th house:

With Mercury so near the cusp of the 8^th house we would fear that Billy has possibly passed away if we are using the rules of William Lilly an astrologer from the 1600’s. Using William Lilly’s idea that if a planet is within 6 degrees of a house we consider Billy as being in the 8^th house. However, the 8^th house also rules anguish of the mind. It could show us that Billy has had a possible break with reality so don’t lose hope that he is alive out there. The direction of this house is NE.

Mercury conjunct Chiron: This shows us it is possible that educational and communication issues may have been problematic for Billy in early childhood. It could show us that these issues carried over into adulthood and became a source of pain for him. Maybe he felt that his methods of communicating or thinking weren’t as good as his peers. Mercury Peregrine in this chart is considered by William Lily to show Billy wandering shiftlessly, lost or up to no good.

Mercury sextile Venus: This is technically a good aspect, it shows luck and success in travels and in a worst case scenario travel brings separation from friends and minor problems with women.

Mercury square Jupiter: This could bring up themes of legal problems for Billy being on his mind at the time of his disappearance. It can also bring delays in the progress of the search for Billy. This is because information at hand could be wrong, there may be too much focus on certain details and other details that need to be investigated are ignored or over looked because someone investigating believes they already know the story or facts. There may be travel problems, jumping to conclusions, believing that we already know the answers, Patience and dealing with information prudently will pay off in the long run.

Mercury conjunct Scheat:

28 degrees of Pisces is considered the “weeping degree” is because that is the current position of the fixed star, Scheat according to the real astrology school. The nature of the fixed stars was determined from centuries of observation of the kinds of events that occurred when the planets met the fixed stars. Scheat must have showed up in several very unpleasant circumstances. Arabian astronomers knew it as Mankib al Faras, the Horse's Shoulder. Scheat is called "Who Goes Forth and Returns".  Scheat with Mercury brings accidents and narrow escapes especially by water, many enemies, trouble through writings, bad for health and domestic affairs. [Robson*, p.206.] Mercury under the beams of the sun shows Billy is likely well hidden

The Moon, an overview of events:

Moon at 14 degrees Aquarius: It is important to be mindful of the people you chose as friends and acquaintances with the moon in Aquarius. With Aquarius there is almost always a connection to a group. Any clubs Billy belonged to should be examined closely. Especially groups in connection to any work issues. This brings abrupt changes that may be unexpected. This was a very unpredictable time where plans might have been altered by interventions. Loneliness, separation from females, feeling inferior and hurt, keeping personal needs under wraps. Depression due to environment, difficulty being accepted…These feelings could all have been popping up for Billy.

Conjunct 6^th house cusp: This highlights job and daily fluctuations, including changes in coworkers and daily habits. Nervous reactions and routine tasks, He was likely a sympathetic person and would have responded to anyone in need of help. I bet he was a sympathetic listener to people with problems when he needed to be.

Moon square Mars: This is an aspect I really dislike when I am reading on a missing person. It could show us that Billy may not have had a great public image. There may have been attacks on his character as well and that could possibly be impacting his case or the way it is being handled. This aspect can make people feel argumentative, impulsive or rash. It can imply enemies are at play. It can imply problems with women are on the forefront. It makes people more susceptible to illness or accidents. Discordant domestic life. Impulsive action is often the cause of trouble with this aspect. Death in a public place in rare instances (very, very rare instances).

Moon sextile Jupiter applying: It is my opinion that this aspect will show the outcome of the case because it is still applying while the other aspects are separating. Jupiter rules the 4^th house and the end of the matter while the moon rules that which has transpired already. By having them in contact I believe that this is a case that will have an end. There will be answers and whether those answers are the ones we want to hear or not, whether they come quickly or slowly at least we will have them eventually and I do feel confident about that.
